Since starting this full time working from home deal I have become really involved in a conspiracy theory around Lawn Care. Here's how it works in my complex:
Sunday - We get a piece of paper on our door letting us know they will be fertilizing the lawn on Monday and to keep your pets and humans off the grass.
Monday - They fertilize
Tuesday - They mow
Wednesday - They blow and weed-wack
Thursday - Nada
Friday - They mow AGAIN
Now it seems to me that if you need to mow the lawn two times a week then perhaps a fertilizer is not necessary.
Do you believe in any conspiracy theories?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Are these men that mow your lawn cute, young, and/or shirtless?
In that case, I'd bring them some lemonade.
If not, call the feds. Stat.
They fertilize EVERY Monday? Seems excessive to me. Mowing twice a week also seems excessive. Are they related to someone on your condo board?
On a more somber note: mommies and daddies need to read my post this morning. I heard about it on the radio and have been in tears off and on all morning. There is no such thing as too safe when it comes to your kids. I'll be keeping this family in my prayers, especially the brother.
Yeah, I think you are on to something. No grass grows that fast in 3 days. Are they smoking the fertilizer thus leading to bad judgement, loss of sense of time or time management skills? That could be the reason.
Or, they are bilking everyone for an unnecessary 'double mow,' which is against one of the first 10 rules to customer satisfaction of the National Lawn Caretakers Association. Yeah, I made that up, it was just flowing so easily...
That is Crazy to mow your lawn twice a week! There must be a "Lawn Conspiracy" somewhere and a club associated with it because I know of some very crazy and critical people who manicure their lawns so much that it consumes most of their time.
I do like a nice, green lawn but I am not psycho about it. And, we only mow once a week.

My twins conspire against me when I'm not looking? Caught them climbing the stairs yesterday while I was trying to read the mail. They're 16 months old. I am screwed.
Do they want to come fertilize, mow, blow and weed wack and mow my lawn? I'll take em!
i do believe! just not sure about lawn care... but sounds suspicious.
if you are paying them to fertilize, then mow - it has to be a conspiracy. that's how they are rollin' in the dough.
however, i'm the same way with my lawn. well, not quite as bad. i don't get paid to do it though. boo!
A little overkill if you ask me.
