The hope has died

A while ago I mentioned that I had many many dreams where this same women in an eggplant colored dress would sit next to me in various settings and say "You're having a baby in June?" and I would say "No, I'm having a baby in July" and she would say "No, you misunderstand, You are having a baby in June."

Sadly I clung to this dream - I looked at it as a vision. It's now 9pm on June 30th. Given that most first time births take many many hours I think it's safe to say that the hope is dead. June baby she will not be. I am sad for this. I'm also not. I'm also grateful that she wants to stay just the two of us for another night...even though she kicks the hell out of me - rearranges organs at will and causes me to go the bathroom no less then 15 times in 9 hours.

Tomorrow, however, would be a perfectly fine birthday. As would any day from July 1st to July 15th.

I haven't had any prophetic dreams this time.

Last time, I had a dream I was going to have Charlotte on May 17th, which was like 3 weeks early and she would be 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

Instead I had her on May 11, and she was 6 lbs, 14 oz. I wonder how accurate it would have been?

I could sure use one of those dreams now though, that's for sure.

Sorry she didn't make her grand entrance in June, but July is a great month too :)
Like most ladies, fashionably late is acceptable.

Maybe she meant your next child will be a June baby?

I had a dream last night that made me laugh. I dreamed that I had Tessa. It was perfectly painless - only slight discomfort. It took just a couple of hours. They released me an hour after I had her. Hubby and I went to a festival that night to walk around. HA!

Damn woman.

I know this won't make you feel better...my first was born on her due date. She wanted to be punctual. HOWEVER, my son was born 4 days early (I was due on New Year's Day with him. He came on the 28th). The twins don't count, as I was induced. :)

Oh I like the 4th though, around 9ish when the fireworks go off. Just for Lexi.
