So I got over feeling awful about still being pregnant. I went to get a massage and enjoyed it very much and then I came home and made a white wine spritzer with frozen peaches in it. Very light on the wine because I really would like to have two of them and I figure if it equates to one glass of wine then it will still be just fine. And then the FH called and said he was having serious "issues" with some computer problem and would not be coming home early with Chinese food to enjoy a nice evening with me. I'm disappointed - because I was looking forward to the time together tonight. Oh well.
On to the work portion of this post - can you check my blogroll over there and drop me a comment if I failed to include you? I tried to update for about an hour tonight but I hate to miss anyone so please please please let me know.

You SO deserve that spritzer and it is NOT going to do any harm, so have 2 glasses. I am so sorry to see that your appointment didn't go so well. I went to a lake for the day and set up twitter to message me, if you were induced. I know this is tough, especially during the summer. My son was born August 10 and it was the longest summer ever. There is nothing any of us can say that's going to make you feel better. All I can say is that we're here to support you and wait with you for the WONDERFUL arrival of Lexi. TRY to sleep well Cass!
Another thing I was thinking of that I heard that bring on labor: certain pressure points in your feet. So maybe you could find those points in a google search or something and make the FH try to get things rolling. Even if it turns out to be a dud it's a good excuse for him to rub your feet!
Lets have this baby today on the 18th! Its my birthday and can be her birthday too!!

Honey, I feel your pain. I went a week and a half overdue and thought I was going to die. I had two coupons for prenatal massages: I used one at 37 weeks, and then I tried to use the other one at 40 weeks.. and they wouldn't touch me for fear of inducing labor. (Even pitocin struggled to induce labor; I don't know what they were so durned worried about.)
Hang in there. Amazingly, when you have that precious bundle in your arms, it's like you never suffered at all.
